Crazy for these chairs! Let's design whole ROOM around them!
Okay fantasy time…These stunning Eero Aarnio swivel chairs were recently up for auction over on LiveAuctioneers. They are fun and bold and I couldn’t stop thinking about them so I designed a room around them! Black and white elements create cohesion, a golden yellow green velvet sofa softens things and the insane malachite detailed secretary sets the whole thing off. For a less ornate look I switched out the light fixture to a vintage midcentury chrome fixture.
And for my imaginary client who wants more eclecticism and demands more vintage (bless them whoever they are) I used a Chippendale style camel back sofa shown below. Same majestic color, different silhouette and vibe.
